    Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Stripe. The stack on this page is the stack in production across every venture, not a careers-page fantasy.

    Weekly calls, written updates, and deep work in between. Progress is measured in what ships, not hours visible online.

Full-Stack Engineer

Ship whole features across our venture portfolio, from database schema to polished UI. You will work directly with the founder on products with real, paying users.

What you will do

  • Build and ship features end to end across Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
  • Own what you ship: deploy it, monitor it, and improve it in production
  • Move between ventures as priorities shift, from retail ops to sports data
  • Shape architecture decisions instead of inheriting them

What we look for

  • Strong TypeScript and React, with real production experience
  • Comfort across the stack: APIs, databases, deployment, and UI
  • Bias for shipping: you would rather launch and iterate than polish in private
  • Clear async communication; we run on updates, not meetings

Founding Engineer (New Ventures)

Be the first engineer on ventures still in incubation. You will take products from zero to launch inside Cedar's studio, starting with what we are building next.

What you will do

  • Take new ventures from first commit to first paying user
  • Make the early technical calls: stack, architecture, and infrastructure
  • Work daily with the founder on product direction, not just tickets
  • Set the engineering standard the venture scales on

What we look for

  • You have built and launched products before, ideally as an early or solo engineer
  • Deep comfort with the modern web stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Postgres
  • Product judgement: you can tell the difference between what is hard and what matters
  • Appetite for ownership and the ambiguity that comes with it
